What we do

Camp Watermelon is a place to play, create, worship, laugh, and learn. We make crafts, play games, practice encouraging and serving each other, and learn Bible stories in tangible, applicable ways.  Campers are placed in groups of 10 to 12 children who are blessed by 3 or 4 wonderful counselors, who already have growing relationships with the Lord.  We have time in the day for free choice activities which include lots of different fun things, and otherwise rotate through several stations in our home and in our yard.  We worship together, learn a theme verse for the week, and experience that verse and other scriptures that relate to it through crafts, mission activities, and games that encourage team building.
